Squirrel Award – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

The Squirrel Award is a home learning programme developed by Squirrel Education to help children build real-world financial understanding, decision-making, and life skills through parent-supported activities and challenges.

By purchasing or participating in the Squirrel Award programme, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


2. Parent / Guardian Responsibility

The Squirrel Award is designed to be completed with appropriate parent or guardian guidance and supervision.

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

  • supervising activities where appropriate
  • determining whether activities are suitable for their child
  • ensuring children participate safely in real-world tasks and discussions

Squirrel Education is not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages arising from participation in activities connected to the programme.


3. Programme Materials

The Squirrel Award may include:

  • printed logbooks
  • certificates
  • activity materials
  • parent guidance content

All materials remain the intellectual property of Squirrel Education unless otherwise stated.

Programme materials may not be:

  • copied
  • reproduced
  • resold
  • redistributed
  • uploaded publicly without written permission from Squirrel Education

4. Certificates

Certificates are issued upon completion of the relevant Squirrel Award level requirements. Each Quest must be signed by a parent or guardian and overall logbooks must be signed by a class teacher for a certificate to be issued.

Certificates recognise participation and completion of the programme levels and are not formal academic qualifications.

Any endorsement references, including CISI endorsement, relate only to approved programme content and do not represent a regulated financial qualification.


5. Payments and Refunds

Payments for the Squirrel Award programme are processed securely through approved third-party payment providers.

Refund requests may be considered within 14 days of purchase where logbooks have not been ordered and/or printed. The programme is non-refundable once delivered.

Squirrel Education reserves the right to refuse refund requests where programme materials have already been used extensively.


6. Delivery and Access

Where physical materials are included, delivery times may vary depending on location and shipping providers.

Squirrel Education is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • postal services
  • customs processes
  • incorrect delivery information supplied by customers
  • events outside reasonable control

7. Privacy

Parent and participant information is handled in accordance with the Squirrel Award Privacy Policy.

By using the programme, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.


8. Changes to the Programme

Squirrel Education may update or improve programme materials, activities, designs, or content over time to enhance the learning experience.


9. Limitation of Liability

The Squirrel Award is an educational programme intended for general learning purposes only.

Squirrel Education does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squirrel Education is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from participation in the programme.


10. Promotions and Partner Campaigns

From time to time, the Squirrel Award may run competitions, sponsored campaigns, or partner-funded reward initiatives. Participation in such initiatives may require limited sharing of registration information with approved programme partners for administration and reward fulfilment purposes.

Squirrel Award – Privacy Policy

Squirrel Education respects the privacy of parents, guardians, and children participating in the Squirrel Award programme.

By registering for the programme or participating in partner-sponsored campaigns, parents or guardians consent to the sharing of relevant registration information with approved programme partners for administration, communication, and reward fulfilment purposes.

Payment details are processed securely through approved third-party payment providers. Squirrel Education does not store full payment card information.

  • improve programme delivery and user experience

4. Children's Information

The Squirrel Award is intended to be purchased and managed by parents or guardians.

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing any child-related information submitted through the programme.

We only collect limited child information necessary to administer participation and certificates.

Squirrel Education takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure.

Information is stored securely using trusted service providers and secure systems.

  • payment processing

  • website or platform operations
  • third party platform support and development
